I am not the one who can't even say the blessing over the food at family reunions without crying. That's not me. Honestly, not me. Readers, don't believe this negative nelly. I'm cool. Real cool. Cool like Aunt Norma--only crying every three or four seconds. Vast improvement from the "old" me.Morkthefiedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12279117890216924918noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2635842948527974870.post-20812954845842408402008-09-12T08:56:00.000-06:002008-09-12T08:56:00.000-06:00What reputation are you trying to uphold? If it is the crying at goofy, cheesy stories (or crying gnerally at any event), you've got that one sewn up!Amohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02357292128726496984noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2635842948527974870.post-82362806076969014972008-09-06T00:54:00.000-06:002008-09-06T00:54:00.000-06:00Mary, that's nice you have that memory of me. My favorite memory of us being roommates was the time we found that story about Christmas--you know, the one about the brothers, and one of the brothers dies on Christmas--and we bawled our eyes out together. And you said, "I love you, Cindy." And I said, "I love you, Mary." But don't repeat that to anyone alive. I have a reputation to uphold.Morkthefiedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12279117890216924918noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2635842948527974870.post-90272745365185840632008-09-06T00:53:00.000-06:002008-09-06T00:53:00.000-06:00Mariann, there is no way on God's green earth that...Mariann, there is no way on God's green earth that Emerson 1st beat us in softball when I was on the team. That may have been AFTER my family moved out of the ward. I do remember getting beat by Emerson 2nd once, but never Emerson 1st (just kidding--we may have gotten beat once I was a senior. By that time, we may have gone downhill a bit because a lot of the sisters were gone--Lynnette, ring in here. Did we ever lose to E-1?). Oh yeah. We had purple shirts.Morkthefiedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12279117890216924918noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2635842948527974870.post-5798801576938112022008-09-05T22:22:00.000-06:002008-09-05T22:22:00.000-06:00Ummmm...I have a question about number 62....I rem...Ummmm...I have a question about number 62....I remember being on Emerson 1st team and we whooped your guys butt in softball!)Hahahaha! We were sharing a room at the time, the brown room with the bunk-beds and I have very clear memories of walking in on you praying. I actually have used your experience in lessons I have given in Relief Society (I should have asked you first, sorry) but I have used it as an example of praying for confirmation that the BoM is true. Tears the ladies up every time! I also use Kathy's experience of paying her tithing when she was at Dixie, even though she didn't go to church much (or at all) till she decided to get things in order to go on a mission. Also a great tear jerker! And makes me very proud to have such good sisters...MarySquarehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14926563249612153601noreply@blogger.com
