We'll miss having her around, but we'll cope, right, Lissy?
We'll take walks in the two-child jogger.
Lilia and friend Alena at the bus stop. It was so fun to see all the little kindergartners getting on the bus, and all the parents taking pictures and saying their last goodbyes.
She came home from her first day saying how much she loved it. She was really ready for kindergarten this year. Being on the older end of the class is a really good thing for Lilia. She seems more sure of herself this year than last year, and she's developed some pretty good social skills.

I can't believe she's old enough for kindergarten. Miss P is on the old end of the spectrum and she is queen of the 3rd grade. wow. we're getting old.
Did you cry?
I didn't cry, because I was busy trying to keep Jessie occupied so he wouldn't scare the little kindergartners. But I did tear up when we went to the school to visit her teacher. As a fellow mother, I'm sure you understand that well of emotion that overwhelms you. It was like I had fear, dread, excitement, happiness, everything rolled into one ball of energy in my heart.
That is awesome that she is in Kindergarden! I think the only time I teared up when I took my kids was when our youngest went because I was being sentimental and thinking,"Oh my gosh! This is the last time I will have a first day of Kindergarden." Silly!
How cute!! And Jessie too. We love them! I would've bawled. Good thing you brought Jessie to distract you.
